Today's the day ................... to paddle

An action-packed day with the family, starting with a paper plate workshop (see extra) on the kitchen table.

After lunch, there was a long walk along the shore of Kirkcudbright Bay to the little beach, past the Lifeboat Station.  Brodie was in his element, retrieving his ball which had been lobbed into the water with a tennis racket.  It seemed to be way too far out, but he doggy-paddled off with determination - and always managed to rescue it.  It made us exhausted just watching him!

Then it was home for a barbecue in the garden to round off the day.  It's not just Brodie who will sleep well tonight .....................
