Solace Day 3 - Happy Easter!

Things are so lovely in the summery weather. After 15 consecutive years of narrowboat holidays I still can't fail to be amazed at the beauty of everything. It's a while since we've done the 4 Counties ring and I'd forgotten how beautiful the Shropshire Union canal is!

Well, Happy Easter" folks. If you have the Bank Holiday weekend off work I hope you're enjoying it as much as we are. In Extras we are sitting, celebrating Easter by eating lunch out on the fore-deck with a bottle of wine made by a friend. As you can see in one of the pictures we have a map on the mug, just so we know where we're going! There's The Man, hoping we'll go slowly under the bridge so he can jump back on the boat. We were just north of the M54 on the Shroppie at this point.
