Disconnected

This morning we arrived on location. The weather is still no good, a strong wind is still blowing steady from the SSW. With a moderate and confused swell from the W and S to complete it. Our latitude is 61 degrees North and the temperature is pretty low. Last year we anticipated that our Malaysian A/B wouldn't like the weather conditions too much on the Northern North Sea. We renewed all the old survival suits; they were far too big for our A/B's. We ordered small and better fitting suits. Today was the first day they tried them. The temperature was low, plenty water over our aft deck during disconnecting and a strong cold wind. Just before breakfast we were ready disconnecting our tow wire from the Thialf. All our A/B's came inside warm and dry, enjoying their breakfast, and very happy with their new suits.
