Could it be fresher

Today it was a very nice weather to go to the garden for a couple of hours. Just enough time to cut ten smooth hydrangeas. They are large species and there was much to cut.

This also is time to wonder how fast berry shrubs open their leaves. Almost in the twinkling of an eye:) And how elegant they are! In the photo there is our blackcurrant that is cut to look like a tree, is it called something like a trunk blackcurrant?.
