A carpet of wild garlic

This morning I went for a walk at Ifton Meadows Nature Reserve.  The woodland was carpeted with wild garlic (or ramsons) with bluebells dotted around.

My extra photos show a solitary bluebell amongst the white blooms and a Speckled Wood butterfly perched on a garlic flower.

It has been a beautiful sunny day today, perfect for gardening and getting the washing dry
