Pelagic Cormorant Collage

Finished two more collages...thought I would post my favorite -- of the pelagic cormorant taken last year on "boating vacation". This is another image transfer using my photography, but today I used a new method which is my favorite so far. Here is the original blip!

You again take a Zeroxed copy of the photo (old drum zerox that deposits the powder on the paper), and then start laying down at least 6-7 layers of liquitex matte glaze, drying between each one. Then dip in water, and start rubbing the paper off the back until all that is left is the image (ink) on the matte glaze. It takes a bit longer, but the results are much nicer.

Raining here today...a good day for art:)
