Tongues of fire!

Such a lovely day today, I could have blipped forever!
In the end I chose another picture of a lesser celendine flower, this time because held completely flat the stamens look like a ring of fire!
So dramatic for such a common, overlooked little flower, I wondered how often we overlook beauty in the world around us....
