Cambo figures
Lovely day for a drive to Cambo and a walk through the gardens. After that down through the woods to the beach with a walk along the coastal path beside Kingsbarns golf course to the car park where a delicious cheese and ham toastie at the shack was enjoyed looking out to sea - bliss !
The blip and first extra were taken in the two and a half acre walled garden dating from around 1800 . There is an even older walled garden which could date back to the 17th century now filled with a large variety of vegetables that they use for the Cambo cafe.
The 2nd extra was taken as I watched 3 golfers playing the tricky looking par 3 15th hole - one nearly landed in the sea and was out of bounds and two of them landed short and can be seen playing their 2nd shot. No pars for them today !! Not a course I have played considering a round here costs not much less than my annual membership and that isn’t taking into consideration that some of the 4s go out each with a caddie. Quite a lot of golfers out today from the USA judging by their accents.
