Oxidised Victory

Today was interesting at work. After work I took the thermal imaging camera back to the borough offices in town. There was some nice sun light but plenty of clouds. I took this picture of an oxidising angel Victory thing that's on top of the war memorial. It's a bit odd for a war memorial most tend to be cenotaphs but this one has a winged victory figure on top of a very un-cenotaph base. Apparently it's by Louis Frederick Roslyn (1878-1934) who did lots of the same thing all over the place.

The kites were out again, taunting me, flying low when I didn't have a camera and then flying off as soon as I went to get a camera with a long lens attached...
