Castillo Menorca.

Took the guys to Castillo Menorca, a big amusement park enjoyed by all the family for many years. It has extensive gardens with exotic plants, a swimming pool, boating pond, splash park, trampolines, climbing stuff including a pirate ship, playgrounds, crazy golf and much more, including a cafe and a well-stocked shop by which I'm always tempted. The main attraction however is the go-karting track, and when we got there it was completely empty. #1D got a double kart for herself and son, and they had a good 20 minutes of zooming around the track (it should be 10 but the kind attendant gave them extra as it was quiet). Afterwards she asked #1GS if he'd like to have a go on his own, something he's not done before, and of course he agreed. Again the kind man in charge let him go round the adult track as it was empty, and he did really well. Just after this a whole crowd of punters turned up, so that was very well timed. The obligatory food porn in extras is my chicken salad (and a cheeky malibu and pineapple) at La Bella Napoli on the way home.
