A day in the life

Lovely slow morning after yesterdays successful gig. The sunny and warm weather is supposed to continue and there are no gigs for a while so, I thought it might be a good time to tear the old roof off the sheep-shed and put a new one on before Tuesday, when rain will fall. This is how it looks right now and I hope I won't meet any difficulties on the way, four days should be enough to make it waterproof.

In Kalmar the annual city festival, apart from the last two years (extra), has begun with music, food entertainment in the streets, somethings for every age type of festival. All music is free, Kalmar is full of people wandering up and down the streets, listening to music, eating all sorts of food, chatting with old friends, looking for fun. Quite a different experience to what it's normally like around here. This is the last weekend before most school begins, holidays end and people start their work again.Next weekend "Iron man" will be using most of the space here and on Öland and on the following Monday, everything is back to normal, autumn has started. It's like a huge summer crescendo.
