Anemone

The garden has taken quite a battering with the hot weather this summer.  Many plants have struggled, our tradescantia was burnt by the heat and hasn't flowered at all.  Even this anemone, which is partially shaded is a shadow of its normal self.  

Quite galling really when we have had persistent rain yesterday evening and this morning.  One of the rare occasions this summer I was glad to be working from home in the study, rather than getting outside.
