Risky business

Another great beach day. Lots of swimming, with Tom and Sasha demonstrating some not entirely successful beach acrobatics. Later we dropped them off at Brockenhurst for their train back to London, but not before getting amazing New Forest ice cream and watching donkeys, horses and even a handful of cows stroll past us down the street.

Afterwards Josh, Sasha and I explored Beaulieu and onto Buckler’s Hard where my friends Jeremy and Sophie keep their boat. After dinner Josh was very insistent that we play Risk. Laura had never played before and I’m sorry to say we did take advantage of that a little - it’s hard to play the game without becoming a dictatorial scheming megalomaniac. She’s very sharp though and soon had our number.

Juno was so tired she actually fell asleep sitting up.
