Getting knotted

The jury's out on whether tying the leaves of daffodils/jonquils etc after flowering serves any use in helping the bulb to re-energize after the flowering but it's something I've done for years.  It signals the end of the spring and the promise of summer to come.  Today's gardening stint felt really good - quite a bit done, first few daffies knotted, plans developing for what this years garden might  look like.  Looking forward to continuing tomorrow - if the weather allows me to.
