Tying the Knot

... under the Water Mint bough.

The Pond Skaters, Gerris lacustris, are back in action. It's not easy to get them near enough to get in focus without knocking the camera into pond, especially when a dog thinks it's a good game and is trying to get in on the action. It took a while to find some that would pose for me. These two went to great lengths to add spice to the picture. My photo last year was much better and if you click, you'll get some info about them if you're interested.

It's glorious outside, in to blip this quickly and out to walk the dogs before friends arrive. It might be drinks in the garden for the first time.
