Visiting Charlotte

Had the absolute pleasure of a couple of hours with Charlotte this afternoon.   She is an astonishing woman, 95 or thereabouts, vital and so full of life - always interested in what i've been up to!   We had tea and talked - she always has pieces of beauty all over her home....this little vase with winter crocus and dying leaves from a hosta really caught my eye.

Then after doing some groceries....Terry, Alison and I headed down to Englishtown beach....see extra.   It was glorious and sunny here at Big Hill and basically all the way down to the ferry.....then, nothing but fog!   we had a lovely walk and i took lots of inspiring images....and brought home some seaweed to use as a subject matter for making some stamps - stay tuned!   We then sat with our usual picnic but after 1/2 it was no longer very pleasant, cold and mizzely....so homeward!
