BC - Border Convention

Or whatever a group of Borders are called. On todays walk in Ottobeuren (dog & person food buying as tomorrow Bank Holiday) we tried out a new path. Was a beautiful day and I tried to take some better photos (Emmy being my benchmark). Then shortly before we returned to the car, saw in the distance 2 humans escorted by 2 black & white objects. What ensued did not allow me to take a better photo. The four greeted each other like very long lost family members. Luna was taken by Jacko and vice versa. In fact we had come across the human couple and one of the dogs back in December on one of our Bannwald walks but it was very brief and Luna had kept her distance. The young girl is growing up!
There are a surprising number of Borders in Ottobeuren. Recently was at the petrol station when the cashier came out and started talking to the dogs through the open tailgate window (I had my back to her). Later on paying the two customers behind me had to wait a minute or two while we discussed some of the fellow borders we knew. In this part of the world, speed is not important. Try going to a village supermarket, baker or butcher. Anyone used to Aldi/Tesco etc begins to tear their hair out after a minute or so of hearing about the latest news from the farmyard slurry tank.
HeHo, tomorrow free & we might even try getting the carriage out as lorries banned. Only problem, the farmers have set to work today owing their fields for silage. We'll see
