Charlie boy and Phil the Greek

Today is the state opening of parliament, when Her Maj enters the House of Lords, preceded by Black Rod (apparently his wife calls him that too, but probably for different reasons).

It was announced today that from now on Liz will be delegating more of her official functions to Chas (about time too if you ask me). Put your feet up girl, you deserve it.

How can you not pity them, having to stand upright in a boat in the pissing rain for hours during the Jubilee Regatta. Poor Phil was hospitalised after that. It's not on frankly!
