Candle in a Bottle

As Mike said, "Is it still life if the flame is flickering?"

When our son, Paul, was here, we began watching "The Chosen", which is a crowdfunded series about Jesus. I've watched a fair few depictions of Jesus, but this is by far the best - accurate to Scripture, utterly moving, human (and humorous at times), beautifully filmed, superb acting. Anyway, last night, decided to carry on, and watched the second episode in season 2. Again, so impressed.

Here's a suggestion for Advent, which we're going to attempt - to watch an episode every night we're able.

Gratefuls:
- an outing to Reguengos to buy wooden stakes for the walls/fences that Mike and Jaime are mending; I spent the time walking towards the Esporão Winery, taking photos in the beautiful light (but then, remembered it was MonoMonday)
- good chats with both daughters, and some smiles from Eden, miss them all, all the time
- Mike mending my favourite boots, with automotive glue
