Hens

Does anyone else remember the wooden toy which was like a table tennis bat, with little hens on it and a wooden ball underneath?  You swung the ball in a circle and the hens pecked at the bat.

My hens were pecking away in their feed this morning and it was just the same! Not quite so rhythmical perhaps!
