Jellyfish?

Actually it's a vase, a gift I bought for a friend. Really liked the shape. I am sure she will enjoy arranging the flowers within the folds of glass.

One of the family saw this blip before I posted it and thought it looked like a jellyfish - thanks for the title suggestion.
