My Grand-Girls

We’re now in the alpine village of Hanmer, and we’re scorching hot.
A long day, travelling to Kaiapoi a town just north of Christchurch .  We had arranged to meet the Wellington family (they were shopping in Chch after collecting Ella from the airport) at a restaurant/brewery situation perfectly on the riverside.  We had a lovely and welcomed two hour break there before travelling north to the alpine village of Hanmer.
We’re staying in side by side apartments, quality accommodation.
We settled in then went for a leisurely wander around the village.
Too hot for me, I was very pleased to get back to our apartments.  Currently sipping on a cool berry cider.
Some of our family have gone to pick up pizzas for an easy tea.
We’re hitting the thermal pools tomorrow.
My blip is Ella and Lexi, reunites after Ella had been away for three days with friends for New Years Eve.
