Sinister rose

Sorry, another flower blip! This doesn't represent my day at all, but I thought the black buds of this rose were rather striking. The flowers themselves were a lovely deep velvety red.

It was a long day, ending with the final rehearsal for the choir concerts, so I didn't get home till nearly midnight. Hence this is backblipped. It might have been processed a bit, but the buds really were that colour!
