Vang Vieng

We got up very early this morning. The tuktuk came at 8 to come and collect us from the hostel. We had to sit around at the minivan for an hour and a half. We met 3 cool girls called Imy, Katie and Lotte. Found out later that Imy met Emily out on Verbier which was so strange! The minibus took 5 hours but the views were absolutely amazing.
When we arrived again we had to pay for a tuktuk. Very annoying as they never tell you that.
All 6 of us went and found a cheap hostel. Me and Katie bumped into Alex when we crossed a bamboo bridge to look at bungalows. Didn't have much success with any of the bungalows. We then got a cheap hostel pretty much in the centre which was good. We are all in one bedroom. When the man was trying to sell it to us he said you get one big speaker. So we have this massive speaker in the middle of the room!
We went and got supper quite early as we were so hungry after the longish journey. Went out to fat monkeys mainly because we wanted to get our free tops! So strange out here as all the bars close so early and everyone gets thrown out at about 11 to 11.30ish.
So everyone over here heads to the only bar (moon bar). You have to cross a very boogie field to get there.
