Arbor Day

The first garden is planted.
....the top picture is just as Doug started turning over the soil
....the bottom one is the planting that we did this afternoon.
....the plants look very insignificant, but they will grow
....I'm wanting to create a dramatic garden, and will in due course put big grey beach stones over the soil.
....We have a Cordyline (dwarf cabbage tree), Libertia (ixoides), Astelia (Westland), Cordyline (wals candy stripe), Nandina (gulfstream) and three Black Mondo Grasses.

All of the above really is for my benefit as I'm sure to loose the name tags, in fact I've lost one already!!,

Some shelving has gone up in the mans shed, more progress.
