Elizabeth

This is Elizabeth, the steam bus. It operates around Whitby. The trip only lasts about twenty minutes, but well worth it. It is a hard ride & it vibrates & tingles through the wooden seats. Ahhh !
It was dry for about two hours this morning. Enough time to walk to the end of the pier with a tray of chips. The sea-gulls were like stuka dive bombers waiting for us to drop a chip. It then started to rain so it was coffee time.
We went to Sherlock's for a coffee. We have been there before. It is very dark & has lots of artefact's from the Sherlock Holmes period. The coffee they serve is Lavazza. Strong & aromatic. The week is coming to an end. Time flies when you are having fun.
