Birds and Apples

There's a lot of blackbird activity going on at the moment. lots of males hopping about with any acrimony as far as I can see. Maybe it's last years youngsters being encouraged to leave.

My next door neighbour has a load of apples harvested from his tree a little while ago and he's put some out for the birds. I got a nice pic of a blackbird and later saw a fleeting visit of a male blackcap and was pleased to get a sharp pic before he flew off. I've put the blackbird in as an extra.
