Man and Dog

It was a beautifully sunny day today, if a little chilly, and we dropped by the Blaise Castle estate before heading back home.

Looking at the photograph, I was amused by the way the shadows of the trees appear not to be parallel, as if the sun was just the other side of the field rather than 93 million miles away.  Just the effect of the focal length and viewpoint, I guess.
