Stowe

For the first time in ages I met Mrs L at Stowe this morning. After a hectic week, with lots of driving and sitting in plague wards it was soooooo good to get out into some fresh air.
The forecast had been for fog but it was glorious sunshine and not at all cold even though it was only 2 or 3 degrees. The sunshine had some warmth and there was a real feeling of Spring. Gorgeous!!
We had a lovely walk round the lakes and then had well earned tea in the cafe.
A couple of loads of washing done and then it was over to mum’s stopping at the laundrette to put towels and Miss L’s duvet in the tumble drier. Still in its cover which Mr K thought was weird but I thought was rather efficient!
I stayed with mum for the afternoon and then went to Fat Club to face the music of the last week spent mostly sitting around eating iced spiced buns.
