Waiting for the tide . . .

This afternoon we finally managed to get the mooring laid, out in the bay. New chain attached and in nearly 5 metres of water, it should be fine. Now all we need is to get the boat ship shape and craned in!

So great to get togged up and out in the dinghy. Just love being on the water, away from it all, especially after a day like today. Been a hell of a day. Started early doing some more book sorting, followed by working in the kitchen for the Big Breakfast and then this afternoon helping in the kitchen at a plant sale and cream teas! If I never see the inside of a village hall kitchen again, I shall die happy! But when folk ask you to help, just for a few hours . . . it's hard to say no!
