Concentration

At East End park for the final leg of the playoffs - the young lads who currently make up the Dunfermline team (mostly unpaid) ran themselves into the ground, but it wasn't enough to beat Alloa, an team of experienced players who've had a good season in the second division. I chose not to blip a shot after the final whistle of the Pars players collapsed on the pitch in despair whilst the Alloa players hugged each other in celebration. We quietly left to discuss what might happen next season and various fund-raising plans that are afoot.

Mike usually sits with us in the north-west stand but accidentally found himself in the Norrie McCathie stand (most season ticket holders have been buying walk-up tickets these last few weeks). I was trying to spot him and eventually found him here, along with Martin and Mr C, Plu, Alan, Debs and Dan, plus a bonus father and son who were sitting in front of us on the bus we got up to the station from Leith. Everyone seems to be concentrating hard and looking somewhat pensive (that was for most of the match, come to think of it). Only the lady in white, top right, is displaying a bit more anguish.....
