Scaffolded Rosslyn Chapel

Headed over to Rosslyn Chapel for a lunchtime concert by the Watt Quartet, who sang a delightful mix of madrigals, anthems and 20th century music.

As we'd had to pay to enter the chapel we were free to wander round with the tourists, appreciating the detail of the intricate stonework in natural light, then observe the restoration work still in progress on the exterior over the west door.

Whoever quoted "it'll be beautiful when it's finished" never said a truer word.
