Wound up in Wexford

Ready for some relaxation time

My sewing room/office is taking shape.  The fitted wardrobes at the back provide ample storage, but need shelving inside to improve their flexibility.

The sewing machine is unboxed - just protected by the cover I made a couple of years ago.

We got signed on with a GP today, but she can'tsee us for our new patient appointments for a couple of weeks, so W visited the local pharmacy to arrange for them to receive a prescription from our previous GP in Galway.  Then we went into New Ross to try to get some fittings for our en suite bathroom - no luck - we'll have to go to Waterford.

Whilst we were there, I got an email from the company who will be supplying our WiFi.  I'd had an email from the delivery company yesterday to say they would be delivering the modem today, and since we were going to be out, I'd arranged for it to be delivered to a shop in New Ross.  This shop was listed on the delivery company website as a place that would accept parcels, but when the van tried to deliver to them, turns out they no longer offer this service!  So the delivery company contacted the senders, who sent me an email asking what to do with the modem!

Annoying, as there were several other shops in our part of County Wexford that I could have nominated instead if the delivery company website had been up to date.  As it is, since I wasn't prepared to drive all the way to the depot in Carlow, and it's a Bank Holiday tomorrow (St Patrick's Day) we won't get the stuff till next Monday.

So a slightly frustrating late morning.

After lunch, I spent an hour or so reprogramming the thermostats in each room to suit our needs, and then a satisfying hour or two getting the sewing room to its current order.  Production recommences tomorrow!
