2023 Wednesday — Field Trip

After yesterday's and today's rain we took a brief field trip to see how our little beach town survived the additional moisture received. The ground here is saturated.

So we traveled by car along the Cayucos shoreline -- lots of debris is scattered along the shore from small pieces of tree branches to huge tree trunks.

All the local lakes and reservoirs are at 100% capacity with spillways filled with running water rushing to the sea.

This photo is the Rock in Morro Bay. I thought it looked interesting.
