Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

We have curtains.

No TV - that, as you can see, remains bubblewrapped.  But it's progress.

Many of the curtains we had in Norfolk, and which we brought with us, are too short for the windows here.  But these curtains are from our lounge in Norfolk - they were curtaining the doors, so are long enough for the lounge windows here.  They were never closed in Norfolk.  There's a bit of sun fading, but they'll certainly serve for the moment.

I then discovered that the shorter curtains from the lounge windows would be just long enough for bedroom windows.  So that's tomorrow's job.

We also spent time reorganising the storage in the utility room.  And I've definitely mastered the Canon printer and its connection to wifi.  And W fixed a motion sensitive light in our en suite bathroom so we don't need to pee in the dark.

So, all small but essential jobs today.

We were hoping that Sean "geothermal" would come today to service our system, but he rang late morning to say he was held up on a previous job.  But he should be here tomorrow.
