Three Tones and a Contrast

10C and bright with wind and heavy short showers

Apothecary7's day off. We went to Dundee. There was a little shopping and then coffee. As we went back to the car we saw the first shower of rain.

Back home we took Maeve the Deerhound round the usual walking route before lunch. There was a light shower as we walked down the field with the bridle path. We could see 'Shamara II' coming into shore as we walked towards the road at the bottom of the field.

The tide was well in, leaving just a few metres of soft sand for walking along. It did stay dry while we walked along the beach and while we looked for blips around the Fishermen's huts. Beside the recently blipped red painted float, two others had been hung on the wooden rail. I liked the red, yellow, and orange together against the contrasting blue/grey painted wood.

As we walked back home we got caught in a very heavy shower. We tried to shelter beside some trees and a wall. Maeve came out of it mostly dry. We were rather drookit !
