Amaryllis

The Amaryllis bulb was just producing the start of 2 shoots when we went on holiday so I left it with a neighbour to look after and it shot up - as they do !

It has since flourished on our kitchen windowsill and now has 5 large flower heads and a 6th about to open. I do find nature amazing !
