Dead Wood

This afternoon has been a mixed bag weather wise. We've had sunshine, then hail, followed by heavy showers followed by , bright sunshine again, and then the cycle repeated itself.

I called in at Peckleton on my way home for a bit of blip action, and I've discovered this lovely dead tree which has been left standing. I tried to take a photo of it with the pretty dramatic skies behind, but as the tree is on the other side of quite a large field from the road it was sort of lost in the photo, so here is another shot of the just the tree.

I think I will revisit here more frequently as I think there are lots of potential blips, and by following the public paths I might get closer to the tree.
