Back to my youth

When I saw these in a charity shop a year ago I couldn't resist them, the colour, the stitching... and the fact that they'd hardly been worn. Only trouble was that apart from them being too long, they were a bit small for me... or rather I was a bit too big for them.

But now, probably due to giving up the sugar in my tea and the two glasses of wine per day, they fit me, so it's time to deal with the length of them and then I shall have a 'new' pair of jeans!

Only bother is that I'll have to wind the bobbin by hand, my machine gave up doing them several years ago.
