Today's the day ....................... to rain

It's been raining quite hard here all day - and it's only this evening when things have dried up a bit.  I'm sure the garden needed it - but it was a shame for all the stall holders who had come to sell their wares at the Kirkcudbright Plant Fair today.  

It didn't stop us though, going out for a very nice Sunday lunch just down the road at our favourite place.  And then, because we'd had a big lunch, we didn't need much for supper.  Will is very pleased with his crop of salad leaves (see extra) in the polytunnel - and that made the basis for an easy meal.

Maybe tomorrow, the sun will shine ....................
