Bringing out the Shelley

This is my own fine bone china, stored at my mother's house (against her wishes), during a flat move in the eighties. It dates from around 1928 and is incredibly delicate.

I unwrapped it all and realised there was far more of it that I had remembered. 10 cups, saucers and side plates, together with cream jug, sugar bowl and two cake plates.

It's absolutely beautiful but is totally out of place in my lifestyle.

I may sell it to someone who would love it and use it.
