Voting Day

Today was voting day in the UK local government election.  We walked via Friar Street to our local voting station, the Guildhall.  This is the furthest I have walked, albeit not very far, since my VT arrack.  We took a wheelchair with us, just in case, I did need it a couple of times.  After the exertion of voting we needed coffee so headed over to Cafe Nero.

After lunch Ann popped back into town and I took it easy cooking a curry which we had for tea.

The extra is the notice board outside the polling station giving details of the people standing in each of the wards.
