Coronation Celebrations

Today was for Coronation celebrations, and  miraculously the  weather  was perfect for outdoor events..We were invited by local friends to join their street party. Here Martin is cutting the  salmon quiche he had  made, with C offering assistance.  We had lots of chats with people we had previously hardly known, and a wonderful lengthy catch  up  over cake and tea with our former neighbours  who moved  to this road three years ago.
Meanwhile, three babes in arms from the road  were being passed around and  doted on by neighbours, while their  older siblings raced up and down the  road on scooters, and played with bubble making machines and water pistols.       
It was a thoroughly enjoyable and  relaxing event.
