Squirreling Away …

… on the lane below us when I first saw her. Nuts had been squashed by cars I guess. She soon retreated to a more photogenic spot and waited for me to pass before returning to her mission. Extra with less tail and more colour. (Just noticed, I forgot to change the ISO!)

I had a lovely walk without getting wet this morning, then a swim in the Gouille Lake at a reasonable 16*C but it was so windy it felt warmer in the water than out. As it is a public holiday for Ascension there were more people than usual swimming. Hope you are having a good Bank Holiday.
