A day of two halves.

This morning we drove over to collect my friend Bobbie, to take her to a garden centre for a coffee. We normally take her on a Thursday afternoon.
It was such a warm sunny glorious day at that point,
People were actually sitting on the small terrace outside which borders this lovely pool.
The usual garden centre we frequent had roadworks just before the point of entry. There were temporary traffic lights which meant there was a queue of traffic. As I had been there yesterday to collect some more bird food and some other bits and pieces I decided that we had better have a change of venue today.
It was the right choice.
People were sitting at tables by the pool each with a parasol, enjoying the warm sunshine and the view.
Stephen took our photo ( see extras) so I could send it to her two daughters, who both live and work in London.
I keep in touch with them on a regular basis.
We had to take her home before 1.00 pm as one of the carers was being there this afternoon.
We then went out for lunch and since then towards teatime the sky clouded over and it became cooler.
I had almost finished reading my book just before tea.
I went out early this morning up the garden to see what the trail camera may have picked up.
No hedgehogs yet.
We’ve re-sited it once again.
Certainly no activity anything like what goes on in Blipper gennepher’s garden at night! Nightly visits by badgers and foxes plus a menagerie of stray cats that she cares for, take a look, as she posts little videos she downloads, having two trail cameras outside,
