Summer blues

Another beautiful morning for our run around Gran Tarajal which took us round the fishing port and marina. The town was very quiet today as it was a public holiday - Day of the Canary Islands, commemorating the autonomous Canary Islands Parliament’s first session on 30 May 1983. 

The extras show a boat about to depart the harbour with a late-comer rowing out to jump on board and go with them, presumably on a fishing trip. The other extra shows lots of small fish and some not so small who bubble about at the other end of the marina.

Our all too short holiday is nearly over.
