The Wildflower Meadow

This  morning, Martin and I spent a couple of hours in our local Wildlife Area strimming a couple of the overgrown grassy paths and preparing the pile of winter prunings  we have  accumulated, in readiness for a much- delayed bonfire, to be held  tomorrow evening before our group  holds its  AGM. The wildflower  meadow is looking lovely, as I hope you will agree from my blip. There are Ox Eye daisy flowers dominating,  plus many Yellow Rattle  flowers and interspersed with Tragopogon pratensis (Jack go to be at noon)flowers .I'm hoping a few orchids will appear shortly, too.
In another area we have Guelder Rose (Viburnum opulus)  blooming, see extra.
