Quod oculus meus videt

The Only Clouds of the day

On the way back from the supermarket I swung by the fields to the east of home.  It was already a glorious day with just a few high clouds in the sky.  I'd got the infrared camera with me so knew I was looking for scenes with good contrast.

I'd normally photograph this tree from the right of the scene with the rising sun behind it, but that just causes flare when using this camera.  I just liked the feathery clouds to the right of the scene.

I've also added an extra of a field I assume has been planted with potatoes.  The furrows helps to provide a strong pattern to the foreground with lots of wispy clouds above.
