Rainy Days

We were supposed to meet the lovely Brady Bunch at Blenheim Palace today but the weather put paid to that plan and instead we didn't even leave the house....
Bloody rain!
Two small children couped up in the house, what could possibly go wrong?!!
Actually in amongst all the squabbling and moaning about being hungry we did manage to have mostly a good day!
We did lots of painting, had very long tea parties on lots of blankets on the floor, read lots of books, had sausages and mash and gravy for lunch, and sent lots of emails to Daddy!
It amazes me to see Miss E typing away on the laptop. She can actually write emails!! This was her best effort:

i think ther was a big big shadow in the window.
i went in the grden too day and i went on a
tresure hunt.
we did do paynting.

Daddy was very pleased!
