Sleepy time

Could not resist this very sleepy, newly fledged sparrow tucked up in the clematis. How sweet .
It’s so new it could fly yet and was still being fed by Mum.
A nice afternoon with the Brownies down at the beach. They looked they had a lot of fun and ended up going home wet and covered in sand.
The girls enjoyed making sandcastles with moats and waterfalls. They tried to guess how many buckets it would take to fill a large trug and then filled their own buckets with sea water , trying not to spill any on the way back. It took about 37 buckets. We then made a human chain to see if that was easier , pouring the water from one bucket to the next .A few Brownies got very wet ! Good job most brought a towel.
A quick walk at the Point after. Just two other people there. An interesting blue sky dotted with clouds. Lots of yellow lupins were out.
